New Science Building Opens on Clayton State Campus

MORROW, Ga. — The new 58,610-square-foot, $18 million at Clayton State University has reached final completion and is ready to welcome students. The new facility is intended to provide Clayton State with additional space for required laboratory classes. Construction began on the project in November 2013.

YPSILANTI, Mich. — In addition to the $1.6 billion in ongoing construction projects at the University of Michigan, several other higher education facilities in Michigan are undergoing improvement projects that will attract students to the state. N.J. Task Force Issues School Safety Recommendations

TRENTON, N.J. — A new 59-page report issued by the New Jersey School Security Task Force, a multi-agency group tasked with identifying ways to improve security at New Jersey schools, outlines more than 40 recommendations for increasing student and teacher safety. These include establishing a School Safety Specialist Academy, improving emergency response times and increasing the use of trained school resource officers.
