The Voltage Drop Calculator, offered by System Sensor, is a Web-based tool that provides architects and engineers assistance in the design of audible/visible notification device circuits. It uses data provided by the user to perform calculations, and can be used on a Mac or PC computer without Internet connection once it has been downloaded.

It features a step-by-step process that allows users to calculate the voltage drops along an NAC by analyzing each device on the circuit and determine if enough operating voltage is available at each location. The calculator can calculate wire resistance, circuit distance, filtered versus unfiltered panels, candela settings and distances between devices.
