TEMPORARY FLOORING
The Bravo Mat System, a temporary flooring product, is available from Composite Mat Solutions.
Designed to prevent turf damage or provide access to difficult terrain, the thermoplastic flooring system uses interlocking mats that can be arranged in a variety of patterns to create field cover, walkways, stage support, roads for light rubber wheel travel, tent flooring, work surfaces and equipment storage support.
PANELING
Trespa North America, a manufacturer of paneling for indoor and outdoor applications, has added seven new decors to its existing Meteon product line.
The colors, which include Erosion, Patina, Deep Blue, Sierra Red, Oxidation, Titanic and English Cherry, are designed to mimic the natural effects of water, wind, temperature and time erosion.
Intended for use in fascias, sandwich panels, storefronts, soffits, balconies, balustrades and rain screen cladding, the paneling is weather resistant, colorfast, impact-resistant and easy to clean, according to the manufacturer.
DANCE FLOOR
American Harlequin introduces the Harlequin Standfast, the latest addition to the company鈥檚 line of performing arts floors.
Designed for multipurpose applications such as aerobics, drama and all types of dance, the flooring can either be installed permanently or as a portable dance surface.
The product can be laid over most types of sub flooring, including sprung and hard subfloors, and is available in resilient and wood finishes.
COOL ROOF
Met-Tile Inc. has released its new 鈥渃ool roof鈥� line, which combines weather protection with energy efficiency.
Combining the look of tile with the functionality of metal, the product line uses an architectural coating system that provides solar reflectivity, allowing roof surfaces to stay cooler longer. Due to the product’s cooling properties, roofing surfaces should be less subject to chemical and atmospheric degradation, according to the company. The product line carries a 230+ mph wind rating and Class 4 rating for impact resistance.
DIGITAL MIXER
The SRP-X500P, a digital powered mixer, router and amplifier, is available from Sony Electronics Inc.
Designed for a variety of AV applications, the mixer features a range of system control options that can provide classrooms, boardrooms and small to mid-sized conference rooms with audio and video interconnectivity.
The unit includes a video switcher, wireless microphone slots, integrated wireless tuner slots, wireless control capability and a built-in four-channel amplifier.
Facility Management Software
MicroMain Corporation, a provider of asset and facility management software and services, recently announced the release of its new capital planning and asset management software, MicroMain CM. The suite of products targets all critical facility operations, capital planning, maintenance management and facility management.
According to the company, the software offers features such as intuitive interface, common-sense navigation, and report generation. MicroMain CM is designed to allow customers to self-assess the current condition of their buildings and assets.
Music-related Storage
Wenger Corp. announces enhancements to its instrument storage cabinets, including new models and options, more color laminate choices and additional material choices, including environmentally sensitive core material.
Ten new cabinets provide alternatives to fit a customer鈥檚 space and budget requirements. For added security, the company now offers an optional heavy-duty grille door on select cabinet models.
Wenger鈥檚 cabinet-selection software, recently updated, determines the optimal cabinet configuration to meet instrumentation needs and available space.
Storage and Locker Systems
Jonti-Craft Inc. is now offering its Bench Locker-5 Sections. The Bench Locker features five footlockers topped with a bench and is designed for storage of footwear or it can be used as a reading bench with ample storage underneath for books. A blue vinyl cushion is included. Each locker is 8 inches wide x 14 inches deep x 10 inches high.
